About Team WCE
Will Coleman Equestrian is a family affair. Based out of Gordonsville, VA, and Ocala, FL, Will and Katie and Will’s dad, Big Will, are lifelong horse people. While Will and Katie have a thriving eventing and training business, Big Will serves as a Joint MFH for Keswick Hunt Club and is a long time subscriber to the Piedmont Fox Hounds in Middleburg, VA. Big Will has twice won the Theodora A. Randolph North American Field Hunter Championships and the Virginia Hunter Field Championships, most recently in 2016.
After graduating from the University of Virginia in 2007, Will started Will Coleman Equestrian. He has developed a program that showcases his education as a well-rounded horseman, with a focus on specific goals for his horses and students each year. Will is currently enjoying running WCE with his wife, Katie. Working as a team, they focus on training, producing, and competing horses from the ground up to the 5* level.
While training and competing horses are Will and Katie’s passion and priority, they teach lessons to a group of clients in the area and hold clinics around the country.
Our Team
Will and Katie have a passion not only for developing horses but also for developing emerging horsemen and riders. WCE always has an invaluable team of Barn Managers and Working Students that take care of every detail for their horses.
Working Students
WCE often has openings for working student positions. Please email Katie at willcolemanequestrian@gmail.com for more information
